Recycling Sorter

Work Hours

• 1st Shift: 5:00am – 3:00pm
• 2nd Shift: 3:00pm – 1:00am

Position Responsibilities

• Inspect materials and sort items or materials.
• Pull contaminants out of paper or off of floor.
• Stack boxes and skids.
• Dump boxes and totes of material.
• Feed material onto conveyor.
• Clean up conveyor and surrounding sorting line.
• Keep surrounding work area clean.
• Read monitor for machine management.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for operating and maintaining equipment.
• Report worker public safety and/or equipment malfunctions.
• Attend operations meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
